IBFAN East Asia is coordinated by Kim Jaiok, the President of Citizens’ Alliance for Consumer Protection of Korea (CACPK). She has been instrumental in establishing new contacts in the countries of EA and mobilizes action for participation at the APCON.

IMPLEMENTING STRATEGIC PLAN IN 2004
The regional representative of IBFAN EA played a key role in mobilizing action to perform countries assessment of status of IYCF for the purpose of presentation at the APCON. In the year 2004, IBFAN EA has participate in the APPAR assessment and training / capacity development in the region. 1st IBFAN East Asia Code Training “International Code of Marketing on Breastfeeding Substitutes” organized on 11-14th November 2004 at Seoul, Korea. Network & coordination will remain primary IBFAN work.
